Why is my Krillion Game answer not accepted?
An unrecognised Krillion Game entry does not finish the question. Use the prompt, the source, and the published answer list to tell a scope mismatch from a missing alias or a timed-out attempt.
01 / The set
First check what the question includes.
Krillion Game uses closed sets. A name can be correct in everyday speech and still fall outside the wording on screen. In our planet question, NASA’s eight planets include Neptune but exclude dwarf planet Pluto. In our Australian-state question, Western Australia is in and Northern Territory is out.
Failure case
Prompt: “Name one of Australia’s six states.” Entry: “Northern Territory.” The game leaves the question open because that territory is not one of the six state answers. Try a state before the timer expires.

02 / The entered name
Normalization is helpful, but it is not a guesser.
The Krillion Game matcher normalizes letter case and accents, turns ordinary punctuation into word separators, collapses repeated spaces, and accepts aliases recorded for that answer. It does not invent synonyms, accept arbitrary spaces inside a word, or decide that related concepts are equivalent. Meaningful blood-type signs stay distinct: “A+” is not “A-.” The input must match a canonical entry or a listed alias after normalization.
For the ICAO spelling-alphabet question, “Juliett” is the official entry and “Juliet” is a recorded alias. ICAO explains why the official form has two final t’s. Feedback shows the canonical form “Juliett” after a recognised alias.

An abbreviation accepted for one question is not automatically accepted everywhere.
03 / Round state
Check whether time remained.
Each question has 25 seconds. An unrecognised entry keeps the question open while time remains, so you can try another answer. A recognised answer ends it immediately. Skip and timeout both score zero; text left in the input when the deadline passes is not submitted automatically.
The deadline continues across refreshes and background tabs. If feedback says “Time ran out,” the question has already settled. Practice provides another seven-question round; Daily is tied to the current UTC date and keeps its saved progress.
04 / Possible editorial gap
A valid missing name can be reported.
The independent Krillion Game bank may omit a useful alias or contain a scope mistake. Compare the exact prompt and source first. If the source supports your answer within the stated boundary, email support@krilliongame.online with the prompt, your entry, and the source URL. Do not send personal information or game-storage data.
We review proposed aliases against existing published answers because changing an answer set can affect saved rounds and Daily consistency. This guide cannot determine whether an answer in another similarly named game should be accepted.
