Krillion Game / field guide
Krillion Game sports guide.
Krillion Game sports questions become easier to scan when you break a list into familiar groups. Use the two sports questions below to find one valid answer quickly, then decide whether to reach for another.
01 / Small set
Six types, not 32 individual pieces.
This Krillion Game question asks for “a type of chess piece in the standard game.” FIDE’s starting-position list gives six kinds: king, queen, rook, bishop, knight, and pawn. There are 32 pieces on the board at the start of a game, but that is not the number of types the prompt asks you to name.
Recall cue
Picture the back rank as king + queen, then rooks + bishops + knights; add the pawns in front. Keep “queen” as a sure answer while you consider another type. In this game’s bank, “horse” is a recorded alias for knight and “castle” for rook.
The answer “bishop” has a 100-point editorial tier here. That point value is part of our scoring design; it does not mean real players choose bishop less often.
02 / Ordered set
Split ten decathlon events into two days.
The Krillion Game outdoor-decathlon prompt uses the ten events listed by World Athletics. Rather than trying to remember all ten at once, scan day one and day two as separate shelves. Day one: 100 metres, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400 metres. Day two: 110 metres hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw, 1500 metres.
100 metres is an easy valid member if you know the question is about the outdoor decathlon.
Pole vault is also valid and has a 100-point editorial tier in our bank. Submit it only if you are confident before time expires.
An event from a different combined competition does not enter this set merely because it is an athletics discipline. The phrase outdoor decathlon is the boundary.
03 / Decision
A simple 25-second plan.
- Identify the set size and scope from the question.
- Recall one certain member before looking for a less obvious one.
- Use an order, field position, or other real structure to scan the remaining members.
- If uncertain near the deadline, submit the certain answer. An unsubmitted idea scores zero.
Practice repeats seven-question rounds and is the place to test recall without using your Daily set. For the full rules, see how to play Krillion Game.
